Do you want to impact educators and students around the globe? At McGraw Hill, the Assistant Academic Designer will plan and develop digital and print instructional materials for school K-5 Math programs (Reveal). This is currently a remote position and will be filled as a 12-month Project Status Worker (PSW) designation.

How can you make an impact?

As an Assistant Academic Designer, you will plan and develop instructional materials for digital and print math products for grades K-5 This includes textbooks, interactive activities, worksheets, assessments, and teacher lesson plans.

What can you expect from this position?

· Assist in the development of an elementary (Grades K-5) math print and digital instructional materials.
· Produce accurate, error-free, high-quality products that meet curriculum standards and display appropriate content, reading level, grammar, and style.
· Track and follow approved workflows at all stages of development, and meet all intermediate and final schedule dates.
· Collaborate on cross-functional teams to ensure that market requirements, project schedules, and product goals are met.
· Demonstrate effective organizational and excellent time management skills; productive, efficient work habits and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and exhibit flexibility to rapidly changing priorities and demands.

We’re looking for someone with…

· Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree in Math preferred.
· The ideal candidate will have a background in Math with writing or editorial experience.
· Strong preference for candidates with 1+ years of writing/editorial experience.
· Experience working with digital curriculum development, digital authoring tools, and content management systems preferred.
· Must be organized, detailed-orientated with propensity for hitting deadlines while managing multiple projects.
· Classroom teaching experience would also be accepted in lieu of editorial experience.
