DESCRIPTION:Join Bay Area Women in Publishing (BAWiP) and Publishing Professionals Network (PPN) for their first ever combined picnic! \n\n\nPPN and BAWiP have long worked to promote and support the book publishing community through mentorship programs\, educational conferences\, book awards\, meetups\, and various professional development sessions. Now\, for the first time\, we’re joining forces to connect our communities in a fun\, outdoor event. \n\n\n\nGrab your sunhat and your sweater (it is the Bay Area\, after all)\, and come meet some of your local publishing peeps in person! \nLocation: Picnic Area #2 (Codornices Park across from the Berkeley Rose Garden) \nYou do not have to be a PPN or BAWiP member to attend\, but you do need to register. \nNo fee to guests. \nNo food sharing: BYO sandwich or other delicious lunch items. Nearby take out lunch shops nearby include: \nBAWiP/PPN will provide drinks; chips\, etc.; cups\, plates\, utensils\, trash bags\, name tags. \nWe’ll have games! And of course you and your inner child can go on the slides …
