Apply for a Scholarship

As a nonprofit organization committed to education and resources, PPN encourages individuals new to our profession, or those considering joining our profession, to attend our conference at no cost. We will award up to ten full scholarships.

Scholarship recipients

  • Must have demonstrated interest in publishing through coursework, volunteer work, and/or entry-level publishing experience.
  • May have worked up to—but not more than—two years as a paid publishing professional.

To apply, submit a brief essay (100 to 200 words) to explain your interest and possible goals. Send your essay to ppn.conference@pubpronetwork.org, subject line “Conference Scholarship.” Applications must be received by midnight on April 14. Scholarship recipients will be notified by April 18 and will receive instructions for registering at that time.

PPN promotes the cause of greater diversity in the professions related to book publishing. We encourage individuals from backgrounds and life experiences that have traditionally been underrepresented in the industry to apply.
