Publishing Fulfillment Manager – UC Press (Hybrid)
Location: Oakland, CA (Hybrid Schedule)
Salary: $100,000 – $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Publishing Fulfillment Manager to lead vendor relationships and fulfillment operations. In this role, you will collaborate across teams, ensuring smooth coordination between vendors, internal teams, and key partners. Your expertise will improve processes, optimize fulfillment strategies, and deliver exceptional service to UC Press stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage vendor relationships, ensuring strong partnerships and continuous improvement.
Oversee fulfillment operations, ensuring data accuracy in sales and inventory reports.
Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor strategies with business needs.
Lead contract reviews, RFP processes, and support change management initiatives.
Supervise a team member to maintain workflow efficiency.
About You:
5+ years of experience in vendor management (publishing experience preferred).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
