Becoming Your Own Publisher: Advice, Tips and Pitfalls/Self-Editing Your Work

We are slowly but surely beginning to incorporate live events into our schedule. January is traditionally Self-Pub month. We have asked Janet Dawson, Peggy Lucke, and Michael Nava to join MWA NorCal for a panel discussion on setting up your own publishing house. We will ask them to weigh in on the pros and cons (if any) of being their own jack of all trades. As a natural follow-up to this discussion, Laurie R. King and Zoe Quinton are going to discuss self-editing your material. If you’re going to self-publish, learning the finer points of self-editing is a must.
