July 8, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:30 pm

20-year veteran book review editor Patti Thorn offers a lively discussion on book reviews from A to Z.

In an age where people count on reviews for everything from refrigerators to restaurants, book reviews are key to an author’s success. But how to get them? In this presentation, attendees will learn why reviews are important, as well as:

  • How to target the right publications for your genre
  • How to approach editors and bloggers for reviews
  • Places to consider querying that you might have overlooked, such as alumni magazines and association newsletters
  • How to hold an online book tour, and much more.
