Book Design

I approach each book as a distinct creative project, balancing originality with the established conventions of professional publishing. My work is grounded in strong typographic principles and informed by industry standards such as The Chicago Manual of Style, ensuring that every design is both visually engaging, structurally sound, and unique.

I trained in book design at the London College of Printing and began my career working in-house with established publishers including Nystrom, Loyola University Press, and Contemporary Books before transitioning to independent work. This foundation gave me a deep understanding of both the creative and production sides of publishing.

I have designed a wide range of titles—including novels, children’s books, poetry collections, and educational workbooks—each with its own voice and audience. My focus is on creating cohesive books where the cover attracts the reader and the interior supports a seamless, immersive reading experience through careful attention to typography, layout, and pacing.
