New World Library is looking for a motivated and innovative digital marketer to help us reach new readers in today’s online book environment. We seek an energetic, hands-on digital marketing expert who can promote and sell our products effectively through all digital channels. This is an-going part-time contract position, 20-30 hours per week.
The digital marketer will work with our Sales & Marketing Director and Publicists to determine where to invest time and money in the digital marketing space, including Amazon, Google, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit as well as book publishing sites including Edelweiss and Bookshop.org.
Duties will include the following:
Create digital marketing campaigns for all Frontlist titles each season
Create digital marketing campaign for backlist titles in general – focusing on low performing recent releases and backlist bestsellers
Social media advertising on all platforms
Amazon Advertising using Ingram ID with the following focuses:
Break through the noise of competing books
Making our messaging and ad placements more targeted
Connecting with readers within their online communities
Amazon A+ content
Assist with improving Keywords and BISACs for backlist titles
Work with Authors on their websites and/or Amazon pages
Improve website sales
All candidates should have knowledge of the book business and how books are marketed digitally including emerging and creative forms of online marketing. Experience with InDesign for creating ads and other content is a must. A plus would be knowledge of working with Ingram’s marketing tools.
