Bauhaus typography, publication design, and alphabet experiments are often associated with minimalist letters reduced to pure geometry, but that’s only part of the story. This tour through Letterform Archive’s extensive collection of typeface specimens will explore the utilitarian workhorses used in the school’s early publications to the many geometric designs that sprung up long after the school closed.
This event coincides with Bauhaus Typography at 100, the inaugural exhibition of Letterform Archive’s first-ever gallery.
