I’ve edited literary fiction, poetry, and nonfiction; software documentation and training materials; newspaper columns; technical white papers and blog posts; social science dissertations and master’s theses; and tech industry news. Specialities include editing translations into English and editing texts by nonnative speakers of English.
I see editing as collaboration, as dialogue—from the first stages of development to the final proofreading. It’s always your book (article, essay, story, presentation . . .), not mine.
